PACE provides project management, surveying, preliminary and final design, bidding, and construction services for the City of Happy Valley’s street improvement and maintenance projects. Over the last several years, PACE has provided construction inspections for the placement of slurry and crack seals for the street maintenance project.
The street improvement project involves upgrading degraded city streets. Depending on road conditions, work has ranged from a grind and inlay of various depths to full-depth removal, cement treatment of the base, and the placement of asphalt. In some locations, we also used pavement fabric. PACE develops pavement and striping plans and designs new ADA-compliant ramps to replace non-compliant ones.
This work enhances the city’s infrastructure and accessibility, helping Happy Valley maintain its high pavement condition index rating.
