PACE is highly respected in the Northwest for its stormwater design and modeling capabilities, comprehensive stormwater planning and management services, and Low Impact Development (LID) expertise. We specialize in providing a host of stormwater planning services to various municipal agencies throughout the states of Washington and Oregon. We are one of the few firms that have well-established planning and engineering departments that routinely integrate to develop cost-effective regulatory compliance, code writing and implementation, stormwater infrastructure design/construction asset management, and funding programs to enhance and sustain a consistently high level of service delivery.
Conducting a stormwater management program audit, including a regulatory gap analysis, is one of our most popular services. It allows our clients to ensure that they have the right amount and type of staffing and rate revenues to both achieve NPDES permit compliance and build capital improvement projects and needed stormwater infrastructure upgrades. To keep current with the latest developments in our field, PACE routinely participates in stormwater and LID technical advisory committees, workshops, and training. As an example, a member of our team is currently assisting the Washington State Department of Ecology in the development of a LID manual for eastern Washington through participation on the Technical Review Committee.
